The immensely popular ‘Kids for £1’ programme of activities returns again for the May half term holiday.

Kids for £1 returns this half term

In partnership with RICOH UK Products Ltd, Telford & Wrekin Council will offer selected holiday activities to children and young people who have a Telford Loyalty Card (TLC) for just £1 each.

The Council’s leisure facilities have a full programme of activities during the holiday (TUE 31 MAY – FRI 3 JUN).

There is a whole host of different activities, for all abilities, tastes and ages, ranging from BMX, cheerleading and trampolining to gymnastics.

Kids for £1 activities also include adrenaline packed session of Tubing at Telford Snowboard and Ski Centre or Pay and Play Table Tennis at Oakengates Leisure Centre.

Swimming, skiing and ice skating crash courses will also be on offer over the week providing the opportunity for some intensive tuition to learn and improve skills.

But there’s much more than is listed here for the kids to do, so check out the programme of all the activities here.

Booking in advance (where applicable) is advised so that sessions can be planned according to numbers attending and to avoid any disappointment.

Councillor Liz Clare, cabinet member for leisure and culture services, said: “I am pleased that RICOH continues to support kids for £1 and together we can offer a wide range of activities.

“I urge as many people as possible to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity.

“The return of the incredibly popular UV foam party on Friday 3 June will be a fantastic end to what is hopefully a busy fun packed week for the children .”
