Waters Upton referendum and Ercall Magna Parish Council election results
Residents in Waters Upton have voted to approve the Neighbourhood Plan which will establish a long term plan for the village and help deliver the local community’s aspirations and needs.
The Neighbourhood Plan covers the next 15 years for the parish of Waters Upton and sets out key objectives and local planning policies which would help in determine planning applications in the Waters Upton area.
Turnout for the referendum in Waters Upton yesterday (5 MAY) was 44 per cent:
Yes votes = 282
No votes = 45
Rejected votes = 1
Total votes = 328
Residents in Ercall Magna were also voting yesterday for two Parish Councillor positions.
Turnout for the Ercall Magna Parish Council election was 39.38 per cent:
Elaine Aston = 244
Kevin Connor = 262
Andrew Williams = 278
Rejected votes = 4
Total votes = 788
Kevin Connor and Andrew Williams have been elected to Ercall Magna Parish Council.
