Menopause the Musical
Don’t miss the hysterically funny and uplifting ‘Menopause the Musical’ as it hits the stage in Oakengates in April.
The show, which is packed full of sharp one-liners about memory loss and hot flushes, is backed by an instantly recognisable soundtrack of comic parodies of pop classics.
This all singing, all dancing comedy is set in a department store as four women, who initially seem to have nothing in common, meet at a lingerie sale, and soon realise they all at a very similar stage in life, ‘the change’!
With an all-star cast including Linda Nolan (will she be ‘in the mood for dancing’?), Cheryl Fergison (‘Hev’ from Eastenders) and Rebecca Wheatley (Casualty), the women make fun of their lives as they go through the change, including the forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and all important chocolate binges.
The women bond as they realise the menopause is no longer ‘The Silent Passage’, an unavoidable stage in every woman’s life.
Menopause has played sold-out tours across the world for many years so share in the fun and friendship and book tickets today.
