Panto 2016 announced
It might seem like the pantomime season has only just ended at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place, but tickets are already on sale for the next pantomime which is set to be faitytale and panto classic Sleeping Beauty.
Oakengates theatre has just enjoyed a record breaking season with more people than ever coming along to enjoy all those much anticipated panto clichés, and hot on the heels of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty will continue that much loved tradition.
And this year we are delighted to announce that Shone Productions will be the new producers of Telfords pantomime.
Shone Productions Ltd was formed by James Shone. James has worked exclusively in theatrical entertainment and as well as being a successful producer and director, James is also a writer and musician and is involved in every aspect of his productions.
James has also been lucky enough to work with other leading pantomime companies.
All the glitz and glamour of the West End is set to be brought to Sleeping Beauty with every small detail meticulously honed and tuned to deliver that ‘wow’ factor to the audience at every single performance.
James Shone, Managing Director and Producer at Shone Productions, said: “We could not be happier to be producing the year’s pantomime at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place. We have visited the theatre several times and it’s a lovely venue.
“We promise the biggest pantomime the theatre has ever seen, featuring a quality cast, fantastic scenery and costumes, an amazing live band and magical special effects.

Sleeping Beauty will run at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place from Wednesday 7 December until Saturday 31 December 2016.

Adult - £18
Concession - £16
Family - £62
Rear Tier - £10
Group ticket offer 10+ - £13.50
Book tickets early, before 31 March 2016, and get tickets to this year’s panto at last year’s prices!
Again, for this year there will be two TLC offer performances, the first at 6.30pm on Monday 19 December and the second at 11am on Thursday 29 December. With a TLC card, these performances cost between £9-£11.
Finally, the successful relaxed performances will return again, with a relaxed show at 11am, and a BSL signed show at 6.30pm, both on Friday 30 December.
