Council promotes small businesses
The council is helping to promote local shops and other businesses to boost trade in the built up to Christmas.
Pictured is council leader Kuldip Sahota with Jason Law, of The Name Shop on Tontine Hill in Ironbridge. The Name Shop is one of many businesses across the borough where shoppers can get discounts by producing their Telford Loyalty Card.
As part of the efforts to increase trade, the council will also be promoting Small Business Saturday at the Madeley Christmas lights switch on, which takes place on Saturday 5th December and is paid for and organised by Madeley Town Council.
