Panto star to do his own show at Oakengates Theatre
A firm favourite on the alternative comedy circuit is set to take the stage at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place on Friday 7 November.
Phil Butler started his career playing holiday parks but made the switch to full stand up comedy in 2001 and has never looked back.
He combines observational humour with the slightly surreal and wacky to create what is widely acknowledged to be one of the best stand up routines on the comedy circuit.
The Oakengates Theatre date is towards the end of the comedian’s 30 date tour and comes a month before he returns to Telford to play the part of Hugo Le Gaff in this year’s panto Beauty and the Beast. This is a follow up to a starring role he played in last year’s production of Aladdin.
Phil has also had the great honour of performing for British troops in Iraq, Kosovo, Bosnia, Croatia and Afghanistan.
