Could you name Jason Byrne's new show?
Stand-up comedian Jason Byrne is giving audiences the chance to win £500 in his current UK tour, by coming up with a name for the show.
On Saturday 25 October it will be the turn of Telford comedy fans to get creative and top the leaderboard at Oakengates Theatre.
Every year the Irish funny man is asked the same question - “what’s the name of your show Jason?” His problem is that by the time he gets there, the show content will have changed 546 times.
This year Jason will be taking his leaderboard on tour and asking audience members across the UK to come up with a name for the show and vote for their favourite. By the end of his tour in December, the show will have a name and one fan will pocket the £500 prize.
The Edinburgh Fringe favourite created and starred in Father Figure on BBC1 and will be a familiar face to many from his appearances on Live at the Apollo (BBC1).
Tickets to see Jason Byrne on Saturday 25 October are £18.50 and are available on The Place website, or by calling the ticket office on 01952 382382 or in person at the theatre and Southwater One. The show starts at 8pm and is suitable for over 14s.
