Alan Carr tickets on sale this Friday
Much-loved hit comedian Alan Carr is to return to the stage at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place – with tickets going on sale this Friday at 10am.
Telford’s leading theatre continues to attract the biggest names in comedy and the star is set to perform two shows on Thursday 19 March and Friday 20 March.
Tickets for the shows at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place are £27.50 and are available from the box office at the theatre, over the counter at Southwater One in Telford town centre, by phone on 01952 382382 or online at http://www.theplacetelford.com/
Southwater One is now the theatre’s official town centre ticket agent and tickets for all scheduled shows can be bought at the new building.
Alan Carr shot to fame by being voted Best New Stand Up comedian in 2001 and has gone on to become one of the hottest comedy stars in the country.
He had huge success with his own Channel 4 chat show Alan Carr: Chatty Man, which has featured a parade of top celebrities as guests.
He also won the 2014 Royal Television Society Award for Best Entertainment Performance, the 2013 Bafta for Best Entertainment Performance and 2013 British Comedy Award for Best Comedy Entertainment Personality.
2015 sees him embark on his Yap Yap Yap tour performing at venues the length and breadth of the British Isles over the course of an epic ten months.
Alan has a Telford connection - his dad Graham played for Telford United in the early 1970s and captained the Bucks to FA Trophy glory in 1971. Graham is now chief scout for Newcastle United.
