Tickets to see Alan Carr sold out in less than an hour earlier this month and now Oakengates Theatre @ The Place is announcing another big comedy act, with Shappi Khorsandi coming to Telford in April
Star of Live At The Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, QI, Mock the Week and Have I Got News For You, Shappi promises to keep her audience laughing from start to finish.
The daughter of an exiled writer and comic from Iran, Shappi’s upbringing was in no way conventional. From mental illness to opium dens, it’s all gone on in the Khorsandi household and now she recounts it all the only way she knows how, with razor sharp wit, warmth and endless charm.
