Emergency closure of A442 slip road at Stirchley Interchange
There is an emergency closure of the southbound slip road at the Stirchley Interchange on the A442 from Monday morning 8 December
A structural defect has been identified and a lane closure has been in place last week to prevent vehicles passing through the defect.
This has now been changed to an emergency full closure of the slip road to allow us to carry out site investigations to establish the cause of the defect and carry out repairs. It is envisaged that the closure will be in place for at least two days.
Southbound vehicles will be diverted to the Castlefields roundabout and back along the A169 and A442 Northbound to access Brookside, Stirchley and Halesfield.
