The Cat in the Hat adventures in Telford
From the moment his tall, red and white striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that The Cat in the Hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat they have ever met.
With the trickiest of tricks and the craziest of ideas he turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure, and now the deliciously daft character is set to delight children and adults alike with two performances at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place.
Based on the much loved book by Dr Seuss, The Cat in the Hat is a lively and engaging first theatre experience for young children aged three and above.
This charming and colourful play was originally produced by the National Theatre of Great Britain, and was adapted and originally directed by Katie Mitchell.
Tickets to see The Cat in the Hat at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place at 1pm and 3pm on Sunday 8 February 2015 are £12 for adults and £8 for children, and are available from http://www.theplacetelford.com/, by calling the ticket office on 01952 382382 or in person at Southwater One and the theatre.
