Boyzone triumph on Telford's stage
Irish Pop sensations Boyzone played a triumphant headline show to a crowd of nearly 8,000 at the QEII Fields In Trust Town Park Arena, Telford on Saturday.
Crowds queued from 3.30am to see Boyzone play a crowd-pleasing set with a selection of their own hits, old and new, as well as some covers taken from their latest album Dublin to Detroit, including You Can't Hurry Love and Reach Out (I'll Be There).
Boyz classics like Pictures of You, from the soundtrack of the Mr Bean Movie, When the Going Gets Tough, No Matter What, Words, If We Try, Love Will Save the Day and Who We Are all got a rapturous response from the crowd.
They were supported by a half hour set from Alesha and earlier on an excellent warm up set by local band The Rooz.
