Do you wanna build a snowman...?

Oakengates Theatre @ The Place is set to play host to Sing-a-long-a-Frozen as part of a national UK tour. This unique, interactive screening of the worldwide phenomenon Frozen will hit the big screen on Saturday 19 September.

Do you wanna build a snowman...?

This must see screening of Disney’s Frozen with lyrics will help the audience, whether young or old, to sing along with Elsa and Anna.

The evening is introduced by a live host who will show you how to use your interactive prop bag, before it’s time to sit back, join in and ‘let it go’! Characters from the film will also be at the show and will interact with the audience throughout, giving the performance a real pantomime feel.

And what better excuse to dress up as one of the film’s stars. Will the audience be filled with beautiful Snow Queens or cheeky snowmen?

Disney’s Frozen has taken the world by ‘snowstorm’ and has become the biggest animated film in the ever, and fifth biggest film of all time.

In this heart-warming tale, fearless optimist Anna sets off on an epic journey, teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven, to find her sister Elsa whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.

The Academy Award winning song ‘Let it Go’, which has now sold over 250,000 copies in the UK alone, will feature as part of sing-a-long-a-Frozen, along with the rest of the platinum certified soundtrack.

There are three performances to choose from, so there’s something to suit children of all ages.

Performances take place at 11am, 3pm and 6.30pm on Saturday 19 September. Tickets cost £16 each, £11 for children/concessions. Family tickets are also available at £50 for 2 adults and 2 children, or £36 for 1 adult and 2 children.

Tickets can be bought online at http://www.theplacetelford.com/, by calling the box office on 01952 382382, or in person at Oakengates Theatre or Southwater One in Telford Town Centre.
